Mondays, 6-8pm June 5 – July 24, @ Halifax Central Library (5440 Spring Garden Road)
Pre-registration required, $240 for 8 sessions.
The dynamic relationship between art and words is vast, each one sparking inspiration for the other. Explore different ways of art making and creative writing including lottery poems, painting, collage and drawing.
The intention is that participants will kindle the sparks of inspiration provided in the two artistic mediums to create a relationship between both art and the written word, using the pages of the recycled book as a record of the exploration.
Previous writing and artistic skill not required – though a willingness to share and desire to create is encouraged.
